Care Information:
Each perennial generally requires slightly different information, so it is best to determine which plant you have and that is required. When planting any new perennial, ensure that the first growing season allows the roots to settle into their new home. Dig a whole as deep as the pot and twice as wide to loosen up the soil. Place perennial in the ground and do not bury any deeper than the soil line. Water in well and consistently water (about 3x a week) during the hottest months of the first season. A drip or sprinkler system may be beneficial for long-term watering. After the first year, water about 1-2x a week, and more during extreme heat and dry spells.
