Do this when you bring it home:
Lightly mist evergreens and thoroughly water the planter to freeze in the greens. If temperatures are above freezing, mist the evergreens and water the planter 1-2 times per week to keep greenery fresh. Keep greens slightly moist until temperatures are below freezing.
